The Heartbreaker
She asked “Why are you crying, ammummas(grandmothers)?”
The two ammummas wiped off their tears and said “no we are not crying, some dust has gone into our eyes”.
She went to the two muthas (grandpas) and the two ammummas and kissed them on their barren cheeks and hugged them and said “I shall meet you next time when I come”. The two muthas and the two ammummas erected a dam at the catchment of their tears.
“Bye, two muthas and two ammummas” she said.
She got inside the Qualis and sat with his dad at the front seat and her mother sat at the back.
The Qualis moved forward.
The two muthas and the two ammummas went up to the apartment.
A heartbreaking silence engulfed the rooms. Sadness percolated into their hearts.
The tiny heartbreaker flew out to the gulf with artificial wings.
There is a price to pay when grandparents love their grandchildren. They have to endure the farewells.
But still, they love to be grandparents.

I believe that this little tiny heartbreaker is the luckiest little girl to have grandparents so loving as you guys. First you become the best parents any son or daughter could ever ask for and now you've become the best grandparents any grandchild could ever ask for. Hats off to you guys for making sure that all of us raised under your clock was and will always be surrounded by your unconditional love. Your children and grandchildren love you very much. Thank you folks and May the Good Lord Bless You.
